It’s not easy to be a child in a world of grown-ups. The story begins with a chase: his parents want to squash him. The family unit has become a threat for the child.

Identity problem: Archibald is an elephant and the others see him as a mouse. The discrepancy between Archibald and the world surrounding him is perceptible in the first images. The setting only stops being oppressive once inside the mouse-hole.

You don’t have the same vision of the world if you live on different sides of the wall.

In the last picture, all the main characters of the story are assembled. I like the light in this image: it’s the sun coming through the curtain.
