We all need recognition to live, especially from our parents.
And parents have also been children, seeking their own parents’ recognition.
It’s perpetual motion.
The situation is rarely ideal, we come to terms with it more or less well.

Are we a good example for our children?
On page 2, you can see on the screen a really stupid thing done by adults.

It’s no accident that the little monkey reads The Three Robbers by Tomi Ungerer.
The book allows him to shape himself beyond the restricted world his parents offer him.

When the little one decides to leave, two deeply rooted trees stretch out their accusing branches.

The poster announcing the show reads “Sarrasani” : it’s the name of a famous circus of the beginning of the 20th century.

The ending is both comic and tragic : the parents value themselves by acknowledging “their child”. They can’t acknowledge the adult he’s become.
