A book to tame night-time fears and anxieties.

I have always considered black and white the most beautiful colours. I had wanted to do a book for children in black and white for a long time, which is why I chose the character of the little zebra.

At night-time, imagination gets carried away. It’s both fascinating and frightening. I conceived this book with very few details, in order to maintain the mystery of a world governed by the moon and the stars.

The vulture which you see at the beginning and at the end is actually present throughout the book. It’s on the page with the lion that the reader learns that the vulture has followed the little zebra all night long.
